BIOGRAPHY
As a child Bowlding loved to read. There were many days holed up in her bedroom as a pre-teen, reveling in books related to the African-American experience.
Her first dream was to actually own a bookstore. She had taken a business course for women business owners, and had her business plan complete. At the time, there were other things she wanted, but her husband asked her to make a choice. The bookstore idea was grand, and would have cost of lot of resources to get it up and running, as well as taken up too much time away from her family and other responsibilities.
She settled on getting her first book published. “I was not looking to go beyond that. I just wanted to help people. God had given me too much information, and sent me through too many trials for me to sit on what I learned. At the time the book was released, I began writing other projects. My mind was fixed on publishing only. I had all my book titles down, and what I was going to write about,” she says.
But, she believes God saw differently. Soon after the book was released, many people came to her for help in getting their work released. At the time she was working with a small company that edited and designed her book. The owner became her mentor, teaching her the book publishing process and gave her the information needed to step out on her own. She helped with the first two projects. From there, and with much research on her own, Bowlding learned enough to step out on faith.
Bowlding enjoys helping people and encouraging them to move on what God has inspired in them. “So far, it has been good,” she says. She’s had some ups and downs, trials, and disappointments. But, most of all, she take away something new from each client that serves her in helping the next.
“I love editing. I’m a researcher. My passion is to see people grow. I take pleasure in working with a raw document and then after hard work seeing the result. My mind constantly runs with ideas to better a project. As long as I’m in His will at this time, I will continue to help others get their work done.”
Publishing is not a small feat. We sometimes take the hard work of writers for granted. We want to pay the least amount for the most information. All of the books on this site present information that will inspire, and elevate your spiritual walk. Please support our authors so that they may continue on the path that God has for them. The proceeds from the first book meet the expenses for the next. They all have a gift and a heart for God’s people, let’s support them!
At present she, her husband Andre and young daughter reside in Maryland.
